Who is collecting your data

This site and the Sense tool are operated by The HOOOP Collective ("HOOOP", "we", "us"), reachable at hello@hooop.in. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), HOOOP is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.

What we collect

Your email address, which you provide once before running your first check in Sense. The sustainability claims you paste into Sense are analysed entirely in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

Why we collect it

• Follow-up: so our team can contact you about your results or HOOOP's services.
• Product research: to understand who uses Sense and how, so we can improve it.

We will not use your email for any other purpose without asking you again.

Your consent

We collect your email only if you tick the consent box and submit it. The box is never pre-ticked. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing hello@hooop.in with the subject "Withdraw consent - Sense". We will delete your email within 30 days of such a request.

How long we keep it

Up to 24 months from your last interaction with Sense, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever is earlier.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to access, correct, update, or erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these, email hello@hooop.in.
